(Above) Even at this distance, the incredible view of lower Manhattan depicts the heartfelt presence of pain and pride at the same time.
(Left) This view of the Ground Zero monument lights in NYC is as emotional as one might expect. The beams, reflecting off the low clouds made it an even more powerful statement. The original location of the World Trade Center is to the left of the beams. The faces of those surrounding buildings are lit by the continuing search for more victims. Red, white and blue lights shine brightly upon the Empire State Building for all to see.
